An Auction, the Method of Last Resort, will be facilitated by Power Auctions LLC on 22 October 2014 to resolve string contention for three new generic Top-level Domain (gTLD) strings: SALON, SPOT, and REALTY. Nine applicants are expected to participate in the Auction for their respective applied-for strings. Within seven days after the completion of the Auction, the results, including a results report, will be posted to the Auction Results page of the New gTLD Microsite. In addition, the Auction Proceeds page will be updated prior to month-end to reflect the proceeds and costs related to the Auction.
